Most of the staff at FDDS are very polite, friendly and helpful. There are some staff that are rude though. Especially a pharmacist named Helen. She is rude and makes snarky remarks, she is of a grandmothers age but behaves like a little girl. I guess she was never taught manners or ever grew up. I can see what Pharmacist the other reviewer was talking about. I suggest going to the Lowood Pharmacy.

THE POSITIVESFor many years I have been a customer of Fernvale Discount Drug Store (FDDS). In fact, I attend upon the premises virtually every day as it happens to be conveniently situated within the confines of a larger shopping complex underpinned by Woolworths. Notably, FDDS stockpile a plenteous yet reputable collection of vitamins/mineral. Moreover, FDDS carry an expansive selection of alternative health options, herbal remedies, wellness products, fragrances, toiletries, beauty and cosmetic merchandise. Generally, I have observed that the majority of products stocked by FDDS are commonly less expensive comparatively than said products at Woolworths. Undeniably, the positives detailed above herein are reasonably significant regarding the allure and magnetism of FDDS when measured within the existent context of intensifying market competition notwithstanding the desires and expectations of those fastidious shoppers prioritising the bottom line over loyalty despite the great efforts of staff to ensure every customer leaves the store with a reassuring smile on their face. With the above in mind I wish to communicate just how personable and professional all floor and counter staff at FDDS have been. The atmosphere and environment is seemingly forever positive, lively, placid and ultimately pleasurable. I wish to express my sincere gratitude to those staff members to which I refer for their considerate, gentle and amusing manner toward me personally. I urge said employees to sustain such an impressive and refreshing approach and the FDDS will continue to flourish and guarantee a prosperous future. THE NEGATIVESAside from the voluminous sum of positives concerning FDDS outlined herein above, it is unfortunate but necessary that you the consumer are furnished with the negatives associated with FDDS. Although I am pleased to inform that FDDS does not suffer from negatives in the plural sense, but simply one considerable negative. Specifically, there is a Pharmacist working at FDDS that rapidly needs to tender a resignation in the best interest of the business. It is baffling that FDDS find this Pharmacist an optimal fit given the pleasurable environment and atmosphere displayed by the floor and counter staff. This Pharmacist is narcissistic, unprofessional and extremely rude at times (You have been warned!). Fingers crossed that the only negative I have identified can be rectified. But for said negative FDDS would achieve perfect marks across the board. However given it is a Pharmacy after all and the only negative specifically related to a Pharmacist I feel it apt to remove two stars from what would have been a perfect five stars.
