Public swimming hole-family friendly, casual and laid back. Take your dog.
Great place to take the family & relax in the Brisbane River, clear fresh running water.
#free camp site in Queensland - wow what a rare site in that state - thanks to whoever of the locals supported that site for travelers - #dump point in town available - stayed for 3 night - supported local business with spending about $650 by eating and buying food as well as fill up our Diesel and some maintenance work we otherwise would have done elsewhere - keep it up and open guys
Great place to kayak swim and fish. Camped there over the weekend and had a pretty good time. Its not an official camp ground and you just have to drive off road a bit to find a spot. We were in a 4wd but did see some sedans getting around. You need to bring something for shade because there is absolutely none unless you want to climb up a bank and in the weeds to get under a tree. Probably a better place to go for the day rather than camp if you like to be semi comfortable when you camp. The ground is just rock and dirt and there are no toilets so try not to drink the river water I think
Very popular place. Saw a gazebo in the water with chairs underneath in the shallows. Fantastic idea in such a lovely spot.
